Two font questions

Question

Posted · Report post

Alright, maybe both stupid questions, but I really cannot figure this out. 1) In the footer area, how do I remove the shadow from the text? I used Firebug, found ` .fixed_width #footer { text-shadow:0 -1px 0 #000000; ` but when I modified it in base.css nothing happened. 2) How do I change the default font size on a page? For for instance on http://localpartnersmedia.com/contact-us/ the font is huge. In the page editor I am using the default Paragraph formatting. http://www.localpartnersmedia.com

1) use the Custom Code tab in the PlatformPro menu, it seems to be more reliable than base.css for some reason. Put in it

#footer {
	text-shadow: none;
	}
2A) I think the reason you've got huge fonts on the contact page is because of the styling in the cForms section. You can edit it separately from the Wordpress admin page (see bottom of list). 2B) If you aren't happy with the whole site font size, the default font is set at the body tag level, but you could theoretically change it by page type or section by looking through the page with Firebug.
body {
	font-size:13px;
	}

Hope that helps. Chris
