DMS 2 How to change the whole font face to a google font

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi,

I want to use a google font for the font face of all primary text except headers.

I have loaded the font:

@font-face {
  font-family: 'Roboto';
  font-weight: 300;
  src: local('Roboto Regular'),src: local('Roboto-Regular'),
}

Unfortunately i cannot figure out if there is any easy way to do adress all primary text except headers (i.e. in textboxes)... As text in textboxes is not wrapped in <p> I doesn't help to change the font-family of paragraphs. Any hints on this?

Thanks a lot

Not sure what Pagelines DMS you have, but WPadmin >Pagelines Pro > Enable Googlefonts.THen

DMS Live editor > Site Settings > Typography > choose what font, weights, size you want for Primary Text and Text headers

If you are just choosing to do this by LESS/CSS then you can define just your text headers

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {

  font-family: YOUR OTHER FONT  etc

}

Yeah there is no need to use custom CSS to use a Google Webfont as they are already included in the DMS Pro Tools plugin. Once installed go to the options for the DMS Pro Tools plugin and enable Google Web Fonts, when you go to the Typography settings, all Google web fonts will load up.

That was the solution. I was not aware of this plugin. Thanks a lot.
