Hi,

Unfortunately, you can not display comments section on the blog page. As this isn't standard for any blog, a blog page is supposed to display a list of posts showing either the excerpt of all posts or the full post itself depending on how you have configured your Post page. However, comments are not supposed to be displayed on the blog itself, because it isn't the individual post but a dynamic page made up of all your posts. So if you drag the comments section, how is the comments section supposed to know which post it is assigned to, it can't.

You may be able to use a hook, but this is something you will need to ask on the WordPress support forums, as our comments section will not work on the Posts page (blog page). This also goes for all theme I have ever used or tested.

Framework Version: 2.1
WordPress Version: 3.9.1
Screenshots: atached
Details:

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Go to blog page: http://taraonmaui.com/blog/
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the post

Observed: there are no comments available

Desired: Comments show on the /blog/ page.

More notes:

I'm working on this for a client who uses Pagelines, and I'm not familiar with the framework.

Comments appear on the individual pages, so the comments themselves are working for each post. Posts are separated by pagination, with one full post to each page.

The desire is to get the comments on the actual blog page as well. Is that possible? If not, is there a workaround to get this effect?

Thank you.
