Hi,

I just had to post a topic three times because of a bug in your forum.

If i do not select the "Topic Prefix" I get no error massage and my topic looks like it has been published. Which is not the case.

Verry much annoying!

Fix fix fix...!

You do have to select a specific prefix in order to post a topic. By default (for example) DMS forum topics default to DMS2 prefix - the options are DMS2 or DMS1 and selecting -please choose one- (the other alternative is not really choosing one.

I have moved this to ideas and feedback.

Martin, I thought it must just be me, but the problem happens if you post in Customisations (no prefix)I have twice now had to post three times, even though it appears indicates that your post has been made, and only then managed to post by first previewing and then posting, if that helps.

The problem is that we get no error message if we do not select a prefix. Also the post content get lost and is not published.

Technically its a bug in the forum software, i'll try and figure out a workaround and submit a patch upstream.

Can give you one or two more. Lost the ability to mark a post as answered (had to ask Danny to do it here ). Sometimes the quote function does not work. Not often, but sometimes

thats just the way permissions are setup. as for the quote, yea it was broken a couple of days ago because the CDN went offline

Thanks re: quote. Must admit, I have marked topics I have started before as answered, or maybe the permissions have changed. (thought it was there so moderators didnt have to ask, "Is this now resolved?" at the end of threads)
