DMS 2 Changing hero text position

Question

Posted · Report post

(Sorry, should be in Customizations forum, my mistake)

Hi,

I want to change the position of the hero header text and subtext, and the spacing between the two.

Right now it looks like this: http://grab.by/wRP2

And I want it to look something like this: http://grab.by/wROO

Just wondering what sort of custom CSS I'd need to write for that. I tried using Chrome's Inspect element with no luck.

Try either:

#herou48um96 .pl-hero  h1 {
  font-size: 0;
}
 or
#herou48um96 .pl-hero  h1 {
  display: none;
}

Both should work

GetMeWebDesign That moved the text up to where I want it, thanks.

But I also want to reduce the space between the header and subtext. How can I do that?

Also is there a way to apply this to all heros, or do I have to do it individually by ID?

The issue you have as far as I can tell, is that you have added your text to the subtext textarea wrapped around p tags, this is causing the subtext area to add additional p tags to your text. If you remove the p tags it will resolve your issue.
