We need to let people link to other website through the project listing, either in basic or default template.

Is it possible to have a link and/or graphic in the hover mode?

When I tried to enter a link and a graphic in the project description, neither show up active in hover.

It would very cool, if I could get that to work!

Hello, arno.

There are two ways to achieve this in default template. Basic template is little more specific, so it is harder to achieve this effect.

Default template shows post excerpt and hides post content. Post excerpt strips all html tags, that is why you can't see your link added to project description (post content).

With css, you can hide post excerpt and show post content instead:

div.proj-container.template-default .proj-post_content{display: block;}
div.proj-container.template-default .proj-post_excerpt{display:none;}

if you want to accomplish this with only one section clone, you  can add section's id before both lines (section#projects-ludxxxxxx).

Other way is to use custom text 1 or custom text 2, which will appear beneath project description.

Next project update will include the possibility to create your own templates.

Regards,

Thank you, @bestrag, very helpful. I'll try that.

Btw, in default template posts, I noticed that custom text does not have padding, like the title and excerpt have.

You say "Basic template is little more specific, so it is harder to achieve this effect."

How could be achieved? (e.g. not have the html tag stripped)

It would be very cool, if I could show a clickable link in hover, without the detour of light box or single post.

Thanks,

Arno

hello.

Thanks for the notice, added for update.

Next update will include possibility to create templates by your individual needs. Also, I will add "custom text" field to every template, so that clickable link on hover can be added to any template.

Regards,

Bestrag
