DMS 2 post link on landing page

Question

Posted · Report post

Hello

I'd like to make a site like this http://www.harvard.edu

as you can see, there are posts related to each different categories of 'post'.  My questions are:

I am not a coder nor developer. Is it possible with DMS 2 make this layout on main page linking on different posts? - This means, the recent post display automatically on main page.

Thank you very much in advance!

Jasmin

Hi jjaschang

If you want to show particular posts on particular pages there is a great section available in the store that allows you to add the posts from your blog depending on which category the post has attached to it. The section is Ellen's Filtering section http://www.pagelines.com/shop/sections/filtering/

Alternatively you could create a custom post type and have Flipper on your page and pull the posts from that Custom post type.

The WordPress Codex article on Custom Post Types is available here http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types

Thank you dear Martin,

I do not find information on that page http://www.pagelines...ions/filtering/  .. Hope you don't mind i ask you if it is one time payment to use or each new site has to pay each time?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Jasmin

This is a third party extension for DMS (this work fine to me), but you can use the Flipper Section to do something like Filtering.

Perhaps resolve the problem

Thank you dear Batman.

My question is, is it 'one time (permanent ownership) ' pay or 'each time (license) ' pay for each websites?

Thank you.
