I would like to remove the padding around the header - in this case, the logo image as well as the carousel.

Basically, I'm trying to have the entire upper part of the page all black. Changing the colors for the site isn't working the way that I want.

If I can remove the padding around the header and section that will work.

The site is here:

But because its in "Coming Soon" mode, I've attached a screen shot.

In order to assist you correctly, you will need to provide either a screenshot which isn't present in your post or give us access to the site.

However, please be aware that what you want to do will require custom CSS, something of which we do not provide extensive support for. I highly recommend you inspect the elements using Google Chrome's Dev Tools, then look for the classes that contain margin (displayed Orange in Chfome) and padding (displayed Green in Chrome) and then add your own styling to those classes. When you're happy with the results, copy and paste the code into your custom CSS.

Hi Batman and Danny,

Thanks for your reponses. I'm working on the site now based on your suggestions.
Sorry about the screenshot, I noticed that it didn't go through and then tried to send another reply but I didn't see a way to attach anything.  I figured it out....the screenshot is attached.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @attento

Looks like the Screenshot didn't attach again.

Could you try adding the screenshot to an image sharing platform such as http://imgur.com and sharing the link or try this superb free tool http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html
