Styling headers in DMS2

header style dms2

Best Answer James B , 03 May 2014 - 08:46 AM

Hi Barney

That's correct, so for example if you were styling the h tag of a box, you'd use something like this.

.ibox .ibox-text h4 {
    color: #25E622;
}

To find the code to use, you'd use a web inspector like firebug or Chrome's inbuilt web inspector tool. See a screencast of how I got the above using firebug here - http://screencast.com/t/pRUj2BPEpl

If you want to set the colors for all h tags you'd do something like -

h4 {
    color: #56569D;
}

Just copy paste the code you find directly into your custom css and save.

Hi again,

So I'm a little lost here. I'm trying to find the place I assign a colour style to h1, h2 etc and think I read that I need to declare it as custom CSS, is that right?

I'd like to set a different color for different headers...

Sorry for my ignorance but I am learning, albeit slowly ;)

Cheers

Barney
