Way to stop PostPins from showing the "loading" and "no more posts" message?

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi,

Is there a way to stop postpins from showing the "loading" and "no more posts" message? This is one of those elements that I can't "capture" with firebug so I'm wondering if anyone else knows if there is anything that can be done.

Thanks

Hi,

You can possibly do this with CSS. However, if you remove those messages, how will your readers know that your site is loading more posts or that there are no mores ?

Can you provide a link to the site in question please.

Here is my link:

The biggest problem is that it's only in English (I have a bilingual site so it's not acceptable to have English messages with the French post pins). So for me, it would be better to delete it.

All those phrases can be translated, as far as I can tell.

jQuery(this).addClass('loading').text('<?php _e('Loading...', 'pagelines');?>');

jQuery('.fetchpins a').removeClass('loading').text('<?php _e('Load More Posts', 'pagelines');?>');

The only one that can not be changed is the no more posts/pages phrase.

However, you can try the following CSS to hide the loading messages:

div#infscr-loading, div.iscroll.fetchlink {
display: none !important;
}

So if I wanted to translate it, how would I go about doing that? I have the po file for DMS but when I went inside it, I couldn't find those specific strings...so I suppose those strings are somewhere in the else?
