Two things. First, your logo itself has some white space at the bottom that will force the space to show; crop down the logo and you'll take some space out overall.

Then to control the spacing, use this code in the Custom Code tab, adjusting the final 15px downward to reduce space. You can also move the logo up by reducing the 20px if you like.

 .fixed_width #branding .content-pad {
	padding:20px 15px 15px;
	}

I tried that to but got no results at all.
So I went into the style sheet directly and succeeded!

-Find the file wp-content > themes > platformpro > css > theme.css
-Open it in an editor (Dreamweaver, Plesk, Notepad, etc.)
-Part way down the page is the /* Branding Section */
-Change padding parameters in this tag:
 #branding .content-pad{
			padding: 25px 0px 25px;
		}
To:
 padding: 0px 0px 0px;
