I need advise on using WordPress to build a parliamentary website. I have been making a lot of research and I discovered that Whitehouse.gov runs on Drupal which is nice. Please, what's your take on using WordPress to build a portal of this magnitude? Advise and comments is well appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You are asking which is the best CMS... well it depends upon your abilities. Wordpress is easier by a country mile. You should research Drupal vs Wordpress on the web. CMS is different from the design. For design use Bootstrap (like Pagelines does and anyone with half a brain)

This isn't really a question for us, as we will be slightly biased as PageLines develops products for the WordPress CMS. If you want to know which would better to use in your circumstances you will probably want to do as @GetMeWebDesign† suggested and do a search for comparisons for Drupal vs WordPress.
