DMS 1 TextBox in Column Won't Stay Centered When Logged Out

Question

Edited Thursday Morning:

The below problem inexplicably cleared up this morning. The only thing I can assume is that the server was having issues last night and the database wasn't getting accessed correctly?? If you have any tips re figuring out if the host/server/database are the culprits rather than my coding and/or DMS, please let me know. I'd love to bang my head against the wall less frequently!

Thanks,

Bruce

Here's what I wrote last night-->

A strange problem popped up:

Here's the URL: http://whub34.webhostinghub.com/~videoh6/cidev2.com/

I've got a TextBox within a single Column. I want the TextBox centered, so I made the Column 8/12 and offset 2 to the right. I left the TextBox at 12/12. This centering looks fine while I'm logged in to the site / editing.

Screenshot of above: http://screencast.com/t/RuI2trl4P

When I'm logged out of the site the centering is lost, and the Column and TextBox go flush left.

I also tried to do the same centering, but keeping Column 12/12 and making TextBox 8/12 and offsetting 2 to the right.

I also tried to do this just with the TextBox, and no Column.

Nothing worked.

I haven't had this problem before, and I've used this method of centering dozens of times, so I'm quite perplexed.

I tried taking the custom CSS out, disabled the Plugins, and neither solved it.

I'm using WP 3.8, and DMS 1.1.8

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Strange, the only thing I could think of would be if you host has some kind of caching enabled. So it wasn't showing the changes on the page after you made them. If it happens again try flushing the LESS cache inside the settings>resets panel (this also flushes third party plugin caches) to see if that has any effect. If not try using the alternate css urls tab in settings > advanced, this could help with hosts who have additional caching on the server side so site changes don't reflect instantly.
