How to change black line at top and footer color

Best Answer GetMeWebDesign , 02 April 2014 - 06:57 PM

Add to your custom CSS.

The body background is black (#000) atm. to change it use:

body {
background-color: #fff;
}

This clears the black footer and the black line at the top

Hi -- At some point, I was able to remove the black line across the top of my site and the footer color was white. Now they are both back to black and I'm not sure what I did or how to change it back (despite trying FOREVER). I just want the entire thing to be white. I'm tried everything I can think of and am finally coming here... Please help me -- I'm very new to this and am really learning as I go. My website is boathouseandbarn.com.

Thanks so much!

Karen

Hello @snowdaypress

Platform Pro is no longer officially supported and will become less stable, reliable and usable with future versions of WordPress.

We recommend you upgrade to the Free Framework or the Pro DMS system. You can download the Free Framework from the PageLines GitHub here https://github.com/p...ework-v2.x-free

Details regarding the DMS system can be seen here at http://pagelines.com

Have you previously added Custom CSS in order to change the style of your site?

THANK YOU GetMeWebDesign -- that worked. (It's amazing to me that you could sove that in three seconds).

Also, thanks Martin for the heads-up re: Platform Pro. I need to figure out how to make a switch... yikes.

Best,
Karen
