contactform in SB2 overlaps content when screen is shrunk down

Best Answer Danny , 13 February 2014 - 12:44 PM

OK, well that issue is actually related to the Form itself and the plugin, from the looks of it, it isn't a responsive form. You will need to contact the developer of the plugin for assistance with this, as its not related to PageLines.

Hi,

i hava added a contact-form to the side of my pages.  SEE ATTACHED PHOTO

the issue is when the browser screen is shrunk down, the contactform overlaps the content area.

the contact form was created using contactform7.

when the screen is shrunk down, the contactform should fall down, if there is no space...

all i know is that this is not good to have stuff overlapping..

here is the website URL with the issue

How do i fix this issue?

and btw i am using pagelines framework version 2.4.4 because i tried the new one, and i dont like it.

Hi there, the image added as a background to the content form is 311px wide, but the actual sidebar width is smaller that this, you'll need to adjust the width of the sidebar to make sure its at least 311 pixel wide.

the side SB2 in pagelines is set to 250px see attached screenshot .

so the problem is not the size...

see my screenshot of settings please.

Can you screenshot the site as you see it on the screen for us as the image in your first post never got attached.

Currently I see the site like this, let me know if this is the same as it displays for you -

Hi,

From what I can tell, your issue is related to your use of a table which has a inline styled width of 638px, this is causing the responsiveness to fail from what I can tell. if you remove this width from your table, all should be well, the form when viewed on a mobile device should appear at the bottom of your site.

thank you. i checked other pages as well and even though there are no tables. the same issue is happening.

example see this link

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

the overlap issue is evident when the browser windows is 950px.

if i make it small enough. it does eventually fall down. which is what it is supposed to do.

but the issue... what about clients with 1024x768 monitors.

it is not good to have things overlaping.

please advise.

may i provide you my admin credentials?
