Site not loading CSS unless logged in in Chrome

Question

Posted · Report post

Weird issue I'm dealing with since I moved to a new server. My site won't load the resources or CSS properly unless I'm logged in and in chrome. Then it looks fine. See for yourself: http://comedians.hatewebsites.net

I'm using wordpress 8.1 and the latest pagelines DMS (version 1.15 at time of posting). Please advise.

If you're in multisite and the css isn't loading try the following

Add to wp-config.php:

define( 'PL_NO_DYNAMIC_URL', true );

Could you try disabling all non-pagelines plugins and see if the issue persists.

Also could you enable the PageLines debug for us in site settings > advanced.

Tried disabling them, no dice. Debug is now enabled.

Your compiled CSS is giving a 404, this is due I think to you changing your uploads folder, is this that the case ?

As usually the folder is called uploads/, where as you have files/ ?

So what you can do is try this:

1. Go to your Wordpress Admin Dashboard > PageLines

2. Then click the save button underneath the FallBack CSS area.

Now go back to your site and refresh and see if this resolves your issue. If it doesn't then you will likely need to revert your files/ folder back to uploads.
