Flipper Arrow Color

flipper arrow color

Best Answer James B , 16 January 2014 - 01:18 AM

Hi Bentley, I'm a bit confused reading through the above but if I'm getting the gist of it I'd say do the following. Change the link base color to the color you want them to display other than the black. The use the css below to set the post titles and the flipper titles to black.

Flipper Post Titles

.flipper-wrap .flipper-items .flipper-meta .flipper-post-title {
    color: #000000 !important;
}

Flipper Title

.flipper-heading .flipper-title a { color: #000000 !important;}

Hey guys,

I am working on http://theeargazm.com . To make the flipper arrow border color match the website I changed the css coinciding with it, but it also change the hyperlink color on the website. Since I chose black, the hyperlinks dont show up as hyperlinks. Can I separate the two?

Hi,

Not sure what code you used where it would effect all hyperlinks on your site, if you wish to style a specific section, you should use the section classname to prefix your code. You could also use this (replace your current code):

#site .flipper-prev, #site .flipper-next {
color: #F00;
background: #008000;
}
#site .flipper-prev:hover, #site .flipper-next:hover {
color: #FFF;
background: #00F;
}

@Danny So here is the issue.. I was mistaken.. The "Link Base Color" Effects the flipper title, the flipper post titles and the hyperlinks.. So if I change it to black my hyperlinks don't show up. If I change it so the hyperlinks show up, the other 2 things are the hyperlink color and not black... Whats going on?

@Danny Also when testing it out, I changed the link base color to tan, saved, changed it back to black, saved. The link color is stuck on tan when the Editor is active, but when i deactivate it shows black.. I cleared my cache and cookies and tried resaving and i am still getting the same issue. Whats going on?

@Danny To clarify the entire time I have been talking about the hover color on the prev and next arrows. It coincides with the hyperlink color.

@Danny Okay.. I apologize for all the posts. Disregard everything previous. The Editor issue resolved itself.

The issue is:

I want my Hyperlinked Flipper Titles to remain black, My flipper post titles to remain black, while the hyperlinks within my posts can be any other color but black so they stand out. How can I change the Link Base Color without affecting the Flipper Title and Flipper Post Titles?
