Customize avatar and title entry page without changing category page.

entry category

Best Answer James B , 24 December 2013 - 09:43 AM

If I understand you correctly you could use the class for the category in front of the css for the image.

.category-dermo-hidratante  .c_img {

    border: 5px solid #CCD622;
    height: 170px;
    width: 170px;
}

For all categories try

.category .c_img {

    border: 5px solid #CCD622;
    height: 170px;
    width: 170px;
}

I've been trying to find some information on the forum, but it seems that nobody has done before.

Hi dibujopalabras

If I understand....

You can use something like .page-id-2341 .tu div {el código que quieras}

If you also wish to know how I find the page ID, all you need to do is load up FireBug or Google Chromes web dev tool and inspect your page html, at the top you should see body which has a number of classes assigned to it, one of these is page-id-XX (replace XX with your pages id value. I have added a Danny´s screenshot to assist you.

Hi again

You can use also the "Styling classes" on each page

You have an example here, about color and background

Thanks Batman.
But I need this to work on "all" entry pages (1)

Without affecting the category pages

Hola Batman.
Muchas gracias por la ayuda.
Pero mi problema es que necesito que el cambio se haga en todas las paginas de entrada.
Sin que afecte a las paginas de categoría.

La opción de hacerla en individual no me sirve.

Hi,

If you want to change the title on all pages, use the following CSS:

#site h2.entry-title {
font-size: 30px;
}

Where is the avatar on any of your pages ?

Those images are controlled by your thumbnail size, so you will need to go to Wordpress Admin Dashboard > Settings > Media and change the thumbnail size.

If you wish to increase the size, you will need to increase both the thumbnail size in the settings and then use custom CSS to change the width using the !important declaration, as the option you're currently using has a inline style of 25% and a max-width of 300 pixels. This means that if you wish to have an image set to 400px you will need to override the these styles and most likely the width of the content area too.

Decreasing may require the same customization. Therefore, I recommend you inspect your element(s) using Chrome web dev tools and have a play with the styles.

I apologise, but I am not quite sure what you're referring to. Do you mean you want to have different pictures for different categories?

No. jejejeje Sorry, I do not speak English well

I want to customize css, image of the product on the category page (2).
Without modifying the css of the product image on the entry page (1)

And problem.
If I make a change to the CSS on the entry page.(1)
Automatically changed in the category page.(2).
I want different CSS code for the two pages.

I want to change CSS all category pages without changing the entries page.
