Hi there!

I am considering buying Hero nav but need it for a specific purpose that i'd like to check with you:

can I have several nav bars of different colours on the same page?

Thanks for letting me know.

Hi there @Frederic,

Hero Nav is limited in it's support for mulitple instances with DMS.  A lot of this limitation comes as a compromise to the control and convenience of Hero Nav's trademark dynamic styling.

There is a top fixed nav that can be activated (similar to the core NavBar) and there is the standard drag and drop section.

All instances are styled by one set of color options.  You could style them differently using your own CSS to override whatever styles you need to change, but but biggest limitation I think to what you're trying to do is that the menu is set through a theme position in Appearance > Menus rather than a per-instance option.  That means that each drag/drop instance will use the same menu.

This menu limitation is one I plan to address in the future.

Thanks for asking first!

Oh, just another quick question - is there a transparent background option available?

Well there is a background color transparency option, so you can just make that fully transparent to achieve the same thing.

There are some other styles like the border that are always on though as some background is kind of assumed, so you'd probably want to override that in your own css.

Cheers
