Cannot delete sections

Question

Posted · Report post

When I try and delete a section the modal pops up asking me to confirm but there is only a cancel button.

I've tried shutting off plugins and it didn't do it.

Thoughts?

Hi,

What version of DMS are you using ?

Can you remove all custom code and disable all active plugins except for DMS Pro Tools and see if this resolves your issue, as the modal should look like this:

Have you added any custom code such as scripts ?

if so please remove them and see if this resolves your issue.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, can you enable PL debug mode (DMS Toolbar > Settings > Advanced) and provide a link to your site please, so we can take a closer look.

I don't think I have any custom scripts...

I've enabled debug mode

Hi there, I can't get into the debug option on your site. Please double check the debug checkbox is ticked in global options>advanced in the DMs control panel for us. Make sure you save the changes.

Hi there, checked the debug but can't see anything in there that I would think would cause that other than the plugins. Can you please create an admin level user for the site and email the credentials to hello@pagelines.com then whoever is on shift will be able to take a look first hand to see if we notice anything inside the editor. Make sure you paste a link to the forum post url so they can tie up the details. We will probably need to test disabling plugins to so let us know if that's ok prior to logging in.

Hey there,

Logged in and took a look for you.

In your base theme css, the .btn primary is set to {display:none;} which is what is used in the editor for the 'ok' button.

When I change this to visible/remove, it comes back.

I've left it in place for the minute in case you have it there for a specific reason and need to make the code more specific so it doesn't affect the editor as well. Otherwise you can just remove that line and save.

Hope that helps, have a great weekend
