Yoast not saving titles and metadescription

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi,

been using Yoast SEO plugin for quiet some time on many websites with no trouble what so ever.

All off a sudden, I suspect after last update of dms, titles and metadescriptions are not being saved. Wheel keeps spinning and when I hit save, all the fields are empty again.

It happens on several websites.

It works just fine for me - http://d.pr/i/kIlI

Its most likely you have a plugin causing a conflict, I recommend you disable all active plugins except for DMS Pro Tools and SEO by Yoast and see fi the issue persists.

Hi there, I've installed and tested but I'm unable to replicate, all the fields I'm filling in the data is saving and is present when I go back in. Do you get any error messages/warnings when you save?

There seems to be quiet a few posts on wordpress.org where people have reported yoast not saving on occasion, most of these are cache or plugin related.

Yes indeed, there are many post on different fora on Yoast not saving.

I'm sure it has something to do with caching. But I can't seem to find the problem. Disables all plugins. Flused cach etc.

A work around is the SEO Extended a addon for WordPress SEO.
With that I can create titles and metadescriptions.

Not a easy as the real thing. So I'll keep searching for an answer.

Thanks, Anneke

I have the same problem. It's definitely a DMS issue. When I activate 2014 theme everything works fine. When I activate DMS, I can't edit the titles.

I have the latest version of DMS and Chrome installed.
