Navigation Menu Full Width

Question

Posted · Report post

Hey everybody,

I'm new to the platform and need some assistance. I need the main navigation menu (seen here in yellow: http://cognitivetherapysi.com/) to stretch the full width of the white space.

I've added the following custom CSS code and it applied a thin blue line under the navigation and stretches to the desired length of the menu but the menu remained the same.

#nav_row{
       width:960px;
    }

Any suggestions on how to make the entire menu stretch? Is it possible to add padding left & right between top-navigations elements?

Hi there,

If you want the yellow to stretch the full width of the page add

#primary-nav {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FAF18C !important;
}

Padding between the menu items will space out the text along that navigation.

.main_nav ul li {
    padding: 0 30px;
}
