Hello,

I just purchased the Out of the MediaBox plugin, which I'm excited to use. Everything is installed on the local testing server and I'm able to drag the section into the layouts and add an image, et cetera. However for some reason the hover text isn't working, a background image has been uploaded as mentioned that it's needed. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Hi

thanks for the purchase.

the hover title and text should be working - here's a couple of things to try:
have you set all the options: position, width, opacity etc?
have you published and then refreshed?

I've tried everything. Still not working, different browsers, emptied cache and cookies. Still nothing. I can try and reinstall the plugin. It was originally placed in the "sections" folder of the child theme. Where else would I install it?

That's what it was. Looks like the section had to be installed as a regular plugin. Seems to be working now. Would you be able to add an option to have a hover image displayed?

great - you solved it - thats the same for all DMS extensions - add them as plugins.

I am not sure i follow your feature request - are you saying you would like an image to appear in the hover area?
Would this be in addition to the title and text? Or instead of? Would there still be a background image?

Good to know on the DMS extensions.

Ideally what I'd like, is to have the option to add a hover background image and keep the existing options the same. So if you wanted to have an overlay and text to the background image you could as well. Does this make sense?

if you want to have an image appear in the hover you could add it to the text box using html  - ie

<img src="/wp-content/uploads/myimage" alt="myimage" />
