Navigation Dropdown Problem

Question

DMSPROBLEM.jpg

Hello I need a little help; I have this menu on my nav bar, but I want the ABOUT US to be clickable too, not just the sub menus; notice that the link it points is not the /about-us which its original page link, but some kind of auto generated variable #m1. It goes the same with the COURSES tab.

Hi,

This has been reported a number times, a search on the forums and you would have found probably a hundred topics regarding this question.

The Fixed NavBar and NavBar section are based on Bootstraps navigation. By design, any menu items that have a dropdown/submenu acts as an anchor, which is activated via click. Therefore, this parent item is no longer link to a page/post/category etc.. its just an anchor for you to click to activate the dropdown/submenu.

If you do not like this functionality, you will need to use an alternative menu section or plugin such as UberMenu.

Ubermenu replaces Navbar or Simplenav.  It will pull any menu you've saved in Appearance > Menus that you tell it to display.

It's a great product and looks fantastic.  You can make it appear any way you want, as it has multiple customization options.

Super!   Check their support forum for DMS.  They have a section you can add to DMS to help display it properly.  It's free.
