has anyone ever implemented this??

I haven't upgraded my Pagelines framework because the site is fragile and I don't have time to figure out things that may go wrong...

I have been trying to implement a Woocommerce shop...I have a well-documented problem whereby the Shop page and the product detail page don't show up properly...but the other Woocommerce sites show up fine...

They recommend using hooks like so:

http://docs.wootheme...-compatibility/

I have done this...but my shop page still seems to have a second column item (a newsletter signup widget) below the shop...I can't see how to make this a full-width page with no sidebar...

any ideas??

regards and TIA

Hi, Platform Pro isn't your typical Wordpress theme and with drag and drop functionality, it differs in many ways. So the typical method of implementing a specific plugin may not work. We do not provide any support for WooCommerce in Platform. I highly recommend you upgrade to DMS.

It's a pain to upgrade to DMS.

I'm not sure why you think that.  I just converted a PPro site to DMS two nights ago, and did it in about 90 minutes, including the custom graphics, custom CSS, and creating templates.  It was easy as pie. The content converted easily.  Once the template was created and saved, then applied to pages, it worked immediately for all pages it was used on, and for posts, I set up the layout and all posts followed suit. Super simple, fast, uncomplicated...

Hi there, the latest edition of Platform, prior to the support ending was 1.6. have you tired updating to this edition to see if this resolves the problems you're encountering.
