Question

Hi,

I have set a superzised background image on my site and it works fine on my laptop and on an iPad but not on iPhone.

On the mobile phone the background does not stretch all the way till the end of the page.

I have the latest version of DMS and the BG is 2000 x 1000px

How can I fix this?

Thanks.

Hi Yemoonyah

Can we take a link to the site please so we can it live.

Does the image appear full screen to stat with but then leave a gap as you start to scroll down the page?

I don't get the issue anywhere or on any device but I dont have an iphone. It's actually really hard to see the background anyway.

I cannot replicate it on any devices even my windows phone 8 browser displays it fine and trust me this browser is as bad as IE9.

Clearly, there's a problem and you're not imagining it.  I just went to the site on my Android and see a very small gap, roughly the space where thebastion's image (above) has the black addressbar.

Since your image is a graphic, as opposed to a photo, wouldn't it make more sense in this case to tile it rather than supersizing?

I tried that but you can clearly see the transition, looks ugly.

Okay, graphically, maybe an image that blends into itself on all four sides will work. I use a small image on my Framework site, in the background and it just tiles seamlessly.

Here are two from http://www.grsites.com/archive/textures/category/15/texture/0/
