background image behind footer area

global footer area does not allow the background of the page to show thru...

 

I set transparency and it does not seem to work...

worked within the sectionn to add a transparent png it still cuts off background of the page.

 

suggestions?

.pl-black {
  background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
}

 

Or make your own class or there might even be a transparent class for DMS. Dig around.

What code did  you use, and what settings were used to create the footer background color?

So basically used the footer area with transparent selection in the dropdown... seems to be working.

working now with global and local switching..
