Hi,

I tried to change the header background color above navigation menu to black with custom css. Still a portion comes white in header.

#header {
background-color: black;
}

Sakkthi,

What's the URL to the site?

Okay, the template you're using places the Content area right into the header area.

Please go to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Layout Editor and screenshot the Layout Handling and Site Design Mode for me. Thanks.

Hi,

Our custom CSS documentation has a step by step guide on how to inspect specific elements and customize them. I have provided you with the code for needed to remove the Branding sections content area color.

#site .section-branding .content {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
}

You will probably want the content area of the NavBar to be transparent too, if so use the following code:

#site .section-navbar .content {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
}

Please be aware we only provide limited custom CSS support, so in future we recommend you read through our custom CSS documentation and also check out the free course on Code School which learns you how to use Google Chromes Web Dev tools.
