"Fatal Error" when trying to add Pagelines Sections Plugin

Question

Posted · Report post

I am receiving a "fatal error" (please see full fatal error message in screen capture attached) and cannot add the necessary plugins and/or sections.

I am a pagelines framework customer and will not be moving to the DMS system.  So what am I paying for if I cannot use the old framework?

Help is appreciated.

Hi,

I don't know if the AnyLoop plugin is currently working in DMS or Framework.

The PageLines Section folder for Framework can be auto installed again.  Most of the APIs for Framework were fixed on Tuesday. See this: http://forum.pagelines.com/topic/29001-framework-store-update/

Hi lemonstripe

I have the same problem, but you can try with this

https://fp.io/5ec392fa/

Please try this via FTP, I upload mine for you.

Extract first in your PC or Mac, I only zip for upload, this is not the original zip to install

I hope this resolve your issue.

Thanks Batman.  In what folder do you place this in the FTP files?

I don't understand why this widely spread link appears to have this Vital sections plugin but it doesn't work. http://launchpad.pagelines.com/api/store_free/

I tried a fresh install tonight and had the same problems I was hung out to dry on last week.

It would appear the reason that .zip file doesn't work as a plugin is because there's no php file in it.

there's a error_log and a pagelines-sections.pot file.

sections.jpg

is that right?

I'd like to thank Mr. Wayne again for being there for everybody with his cryptic warezey filepost link that luckily kicks ass and works absolutely perfectly fine.

can we tidy up this week and get all this stuff in one place that works? I wasted a lot of time trying to get that broke file to work until the batman helped me out friday.

Hi batman I am not seeing the pagelines-customize file in my ftp?

Does anyone from pagelines know when these issues are going to be fixed.  This is why we pay a monthly premium...we need these services to be working and nothing seems to be working.  I can't use the plugins section for framework and I can't use hooker.

What's up with this...can we get some communication on these issues?  We have clients that are waiting on these things from us too...come on please help us out!

Hi batman, thanks again for your help but I have read that link and it doesn't help me figure out the problem I am facing.

Does anyone know how to get the anyloop section for framework to show up in the drag and drop interface like it used to?  I just need to add it to my homepage design for a client and it is not working.  I have uploaded it via FTP and it is not showing up.

Help is appreciated as the site is due to the client today!
