Hi there, thanks for reading this.

I am wanting to figure out how to use DMS.

I am also wondering, I have pagelines theme on a self hosted wordpress blog, I do not currently have a child's theme.

Should I get one?

If so, how?

I am sorry if this seems like a basic questions but I can't figure it out!

Thanks again!

My website is wearflatstodinner.com

Sorry that I'm not quite sure, what should I do with this? What is it exactly? Thanks.

Presuming you're using DMS, the use of a child theme is detailed in our docs at

.

The child Base Theme is there to let you upload sections, languages, and modifications using hooks should you need them, outside the core installation.  This protects them from updates, that will overwrite them if they are in core folders.

It also enables you to copy your work over to the child theme, and port it, should you wish to, onto another site.
