Changing the height of the Rev Slider

Question

Posted · Report post

I noticed the Rev Slider has a fixed height (assuming the browser window is wide enough to display the full width of the site), and since images are uploaded as background, the image height does not determine the height of the slider. Anyone knows how to customize the height of the Rev Slider?

Thank you in advance.

Well, I was able to use the custom code to make it smaller or not as tall. Are you trying to increase or decrease? It has both a height and I believe minimum height that you have to adjust. I will be home in a little bit and I can look at the code that I used and send to you.

Here is the code I used on the Rev Slider...just adjust for how tall (or short) you want it:

.revslider-container {
width: 100% !important;
position: relative;
padding: 0;
 height: 700px !important;   /*---------------------------changes height of slider ------ */
max-height: 700px !important; /* --------Change this one also...I just match it to the height I specify above */
}

Sorry to open again,

Is possible to get the full height depending the device. In example for desktop: 850px, for tablet: 650px and for mobile 450px .

Thanks in advance
