Hey guys,

We plan on using Pagelines soon to revamp our site. The front-end will look and function great, but what about the backend where customers download their products and files?

Is there any turn key software out there right now?

We are currently using E-junkie and outgrowing it fast. Customers are unable to log back in to download orders, there's no account area etc. and it's causing major headaches for us.

Is the only option to build something custom or is there something else?

Thanks

Mark

There are many great e-commerce plugins out there.  Ecwid,  CartPress, WooCommerce and JigoShop are four that come to mind.

Mark, PageLines uses woo commerce so there's support for that plugin out of the box. ;)

However, I have to REAAAALLLLLY reccommend Easy Digital Downloads. Yes that's an affiliate link, no I don't work for them. His plugins are actually the only plugins I won't write myself. The cart itself is free, and then there are add-ons that you have to purchase depending on what you want. The entire system is driven with shortcodes, so you can make the design of your pages (and account area) whatever you want. This is why I really love this because it doesn't "trap" you into a certain look/feel.

Anyhow,  I use this with the stripe gateway to accept credit cards so it works really well.

Thanks, I'm getting a redirect loop at the EDD site. Anyone else see the same?

They're redirecting you to their latest version (1.7).  They've also just gone through a server migration, so use this link directly:  https://easydigitald...ds.com/?ref=950

Before I jump in with both feet.

So I basically design my site with PL and then enter EDD shortcode accordingly into the PL pages? Or can I use EDD themes?

Use the shortcode they'll provide to add it to your DMS pages.
