Remove custom post types from site options panel

Best Answer James B , 18 July 2013 - 09:10 PM

Hi there,

How did you create your custom post types, manually or through a plugin. If manually did you remove all of the custom post type code from the functions.php? Also were their any templates you created for the custom post type that still need to be removed, like page.example.php

I created some custom post types, and now decided I don't need them. So I deleted them, but they still appear in my page options panel, like 'products' and 'products archives'

How can I remove them?
