Add Slider behind navigation in the header

Hi,

I trying out to put a third part slider behind the header section only at the homepage.

 

i tried to put this code in the php customize file...

but the slideshow shows up on the top of the site...

how can i add this shortcode? Is there a specific header file?...

 

<?php echo do_shortcode("[metaslider id=467]"); ?>

Hi James,

Thx for your reply...i took the slider away and tryed out other solutions...

So ist this okei if i put the PHP Code into the Php customize file? And is this the right code?

Hey James. I found out how to do that. I putted the php code into the header pagelines file...:)

Works perfectly

Hi Corina

 

I've looked on your site but I can't see a slider on top of the page, have you remove it for the time being?

 

Depending on how the slide displays on the site you might be able to edit it using css to change the z-index of the slider to adjust the layer and move it behind some of the other items on the page.
