Customizing CSS for Print Media in older browsers

Best Answer James B , 26 June 2013 - 10:45 PM

Hi,

Element style applies to inline css applied to that class, so if you have the class, you can over rule it.

So #supersized img {visibility: hidden;} or #supersized img {display: none;} should hide it in the css, if you find it's still appearing add !important to try and for it - #supersized img {visibility: hidden !important;}

Resurrecting this old thread.

Earlier, Rob suggested WP-Print.

I like it, from what I can see. However, the plugin's docs state that one needs to add:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

to the index.php, after:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

I'd like to do this in a way which won't hose any forthcoming Framework updates. With that in mind, where might I add that code?

The plugin's button needs to appear on each post (preferably in the upper-right).

You will want to use a hook to add that snippet to your posts. For more information regarding hooks see our documentation -

I went with this:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Seems to work well.
