Hello Pracede

How does your plugin display the content? Does it use a short-code?

What is the name of the plugin?

I want to add this query $wp_query->query('post_type=classifieds&posts_per_page=8'.'&paged='.$paged); on a page using a shortcode. Which shortcod fit ?

is-it possible to query just classifieds from one category ? example: category number 2

Hi,

Your plugin actually does use shortcodes for ads.  Please read its documentation.

I'm unclear where you want to place these ads, but according to the plugin's Usage tab, all you need to do is create a page and add the shortcode.

You can get further support on the plugin's use and implementation from the plugin developer.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for third-party software.

Hi One Smart Egg,

Thanks for your response. I don't need a support for the plugin. What i want to know is :

- How to modify my page template to add a query ?

When we use wordpress theme, we can modify file such page.php or page-12.php to add a query and display some content from the database.

My question is how to the same thing with pagelines framework and base theme ? Wich file i have to modify ?

Thanks

A query wouldn't be added to a template.  You'd have to write specific code for it into a hook. That's a custom coding issue, which is why I referred you back to your developer for the proper use.  He or she may have a way to use a shortcode for that custom query.

Yes:

You will want the PageLines Customize plugin, found at Dashboard > PageLines > Store > Plugins  > Top Free.  The docs for that are here:

You will probably need the Action Map Plugin, which shows you where things are located.  It too, is free in our Store.  Here's the docs for Action Map:
