Hello

I seem to have tried every possible combinations of codes to achieve what I need for some boxes.

The effect I'm after is the same as on the Features on the test home page at

for the shop category images, for instance, at

Can I get the code right to achieve this - nope!

If anyone can suggest some code to test out, or if you can see just what I need to add, I'd offer to have your babies (if I was not too old for such things :) )

Thank you

Hi Babs,

I can't afford the child support, but thanks for the offer anyway. :)

Presumably you're looking to create a similar overlay, with the right transparency level for the boxes.  From what I see, you've done very well.  Can you tell me what kind of code you're looking for?

Hi Rob

The bit I cannot get is that fine border - per attached.

Made of up a border, a background and padding. But to which bits, I cannot figure - I seem to have tried every possible. And I know it will be something so ridiculously simple that I'll be made to send back my "Code is Poetry" t-shirt.

Hello babs

Please could you provide some exampels of the code you have tried and we can point you in the correct direction.
