Hi there,

I'm trying to edit the translations, such as "Post a comment". Some of them are already translated (automatically by the theme?!) into German. Where can I edit them? Our site is: http://www.border-crossing.ch/wkkopie/, the texts I'd like to translate you can find here:

- comments ("Hinterlasse eine Antwort" and so on): http://www.border-cr...tzten-40-jahre/

- search ("Search results for": http://www.border-cr...wkkopie/?s=bern

Thank you in advance.

Bests from Switzerland,

Thomas

Hello,

Please see:  http://support.pagel...d-localization/

Language files can be found here:  http://pagelines.com...lines-framework

Simon has written a very detailed topic here:  http://www.pagelines...edit/?hl=poedit

Thank you for your help. I could edit some of the translations. But, there are still some I can't translate, for example:

- "Search Results For" in http://www.border-cr...wkkopie/?s=bern

- "Archives" in http://www.border-cr...roger-nordmann/

Could you please help me again?

Hi there,

I'm finding the results in http://pagelines.com...work/de/default for both of those in german. If you click on search and enter the text as above you should see results for each.

Hi there,

Thank you. I've already edited all the .po- and .mo-files I could find on the server. But, it still doesn't work, see here: http://www.border-cr...wkkopie/?s=bern

Hi there,  if that's not working try adding the translations to your site manually by following the below method.

1. Look up Localization on WordPress: http://codex.wordpre...ating_WordPress

2. Use PoEdit (http://www.poedit.net) to create your translation files.

3. After translating the file by Poedit save the translation. Poedit creates two files for you. One with the extension ".po" and the other one with the extension ".mo".

Upload both files to the folder "language" located in PageLines folder. Alternatively, you could use another plugin (e.g. Codestyling plugin) to apply the translations.

You will also need to follow the instructions at: http://codex.wordpre...n_Your_Language
