nofollow Links within PageLines Box Posts

box posts nofollow

Hi,

It seems you need to customize the boxes section.

To do this, you'll need a child theme such as Base Theme, which is free in our Store.

You FTP into your site, navigate to wp-content/themes/pagelines/sections and download the boxes folder to your local computer.

Make the changes you desire in your local copy.

With the Base theme installed and activated, you then will find wp-content/themes/pagelines-template-theme where you will create a new folder called sections. Open the new sections folder and upload the revised boxes folder there.

Your boxes section will be replaced with the new one.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you where to find the appropriate code in the boxes section, other than it will be in the section.php file.

Hi everyone,

I would like to set a nofollow link within PageLines Box posts > "Box Link" field.

By default, links added into this field are dofollow.

I tried to add rel="nofollow" just after the link but it doesn't work.

Thank you for your help!

Jean-Philippe

Bonjour Jean-Philippe,

Are you adding this link to settings or manually within the box?

Okay.  I don't know how that would be done. I'll ask one of our developers.

Ok, thank you for your answer, Rob.

I'll give it a try but may I suggest to add a nofollow tick box for boxes within the next PageLines theme update. Could be helpful for some people I think.

I've made the developers aware of this. I can't say what they'll do.  But thank you for the insightful suggestion!
