feature slides and sidebar2 position

feature slide sidebar2

Best Answer James B , 31 May 2013 - 08:24 PM

Hi again, is the content in the sidebar underneat the slider on the left inside a 'content sidebar'?

If so you'll need to move the widgets from inside the content sidebar in to one of the main sidebars (sidebar primary, secondary etc) these are the main full height sidebars which span the full height of the site. The content sidebar will only span the height of the content area.

So remove the content sidebar widgets into one of the others (probably secondary as it looks like primary is on the right already) then remove the content sidebar from the content area. Then select in the layout edit one of the two sidebar layout options - http://screencast.com/t/7ucDOXcDfpa

Hi there,

I'm unable to access the url you're provided for the example site. So the below advice is purely from the description you provided.

If you're looking to put the features in the middle of two sidebars you can place the feature in the content area of the template and then set the site to a two sidebar layout in the layout editor. You should haven't to adjust the css to make the slider fit as it will take the width of the available area.

If you have edited the css and the sidebar is falling underneath the main page content, this will usually be down to the fact the padding/margins have been edited. Remove or reset this back to normal and the layout should go back to how it was before.
