Pagelines demo home page - question re sections and font awesome

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi, quick question about the Pagelines demo site.

Page > http://demo.pagelines.me/ uses boxes to display the following topics; SEO Tuned & Social, Tons of Addons, Responsive Design, etc., under the "Professional websites for the rest of us" section.

These boxes each use an image. I see that the image is set in the Box Setup Options (using upload image, etc.).

My questions is; can I use Font Awesome icons (using a shortcode) instead of a regular image in this place?

Screenshot attached.

Thanks.

Thanks for the prompt response, Rob.

I guess I'll have to create images from the Font Awesome icons I want, and upload them to use.

If anyone else knows of a hack to use Font Awesome icons in place of the image, I'd be interested to hear it.

Thanks.

Apologies... Probably best to use an image; certainly easier.

Hi James,

I don't think you can replace the image with Font Awesome, but, I do think you can implement that in the box title or excerpt. Unfortunately, I've not used Font Awesome, personally, but it should be applicable to the title, as a prefix.
