Feature Text style on Boxes?

boxes

Best Answer James B , 20 May 2013 - 07:38 PM

Hi there,

You'd need to set in the box meta so the image was on top. Then in the css you'd need to give a negative margin to the .fboxinfo

so it would move up over the image, and give it a semi transparent background color.

This post should help you with the code for the background color and the boxes - http://www.pagelines...kground-colour/

Hi

I really want to have the same text styling as on Features (Text on Bottom, with the transparent text overlay, etc).

Does anyone know if this can be done with ease, or is it a "hack that css" job.

Thanks.

Hi,

It seems this is one of those "hack-that-CSS" things!  What are you trying to accomplish?

Hi Rob

Oh well.

What I'm wanting to do is take the boxes here

and make them look like these

I figured boxes was the way to go (one day I'll do myself a chart of what does and looks like what).

Any tips welcome ;-)

Thanks James

I've set this up though the .fboxinfo {margin-top: -100px;} code is not working - will have a fiddle with it.

Appreciate knowing I'm on the right track. Thanks again.
