Perhaps this is easy and I overlooked something, but how can I rename the templates 1 to 5 to something more easy to recognize?

Hi,

I don't think you can rename the templates, however, using Base Theme, you can modify the Example Template.  See the instructions here:

We don't support modifying core files, and I don't recommend it but there can be templates associated with a child theme, such as Base Theme.

Ok. Perhaps this could be made a feature someday to rename? It's easier to identify a modified template 1 or 2 as 'homepage' or 'customer-page'.

With Base Theme, as the link provided said, you can modify and rename Example Template, creating just the templates you mentioned.
