Drop down list background color

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi,

I am trying to change the background colour of the droplist background to a lighter shade of grey:

test.propertywealthadvisors.com.au

I have the below code:

#brandnav .main-nav ul a:hover, .main-nav ul.current_page_item > a, .main-nav ul.current-page-ancestor > a {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
}

Still doesn't work, is there anything im missing?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you the custom CSS needed to achieve your layout. However, I can tell you that the code you have above is incorrect. The reason this is incorrect, is the current page etc... classes only work for the auto created menu by Wordpress. If you have created your own menu, then you need to use the current menu classes instead.

I recommend using Google Chrome web dev tools and inspect the BrandNav ul to find the correct code. If you're new to Chrome, I highly recommend taking this quick and free course from Code School. As it will assist you in learning the basics for Google Chrome web dev tools.
