Error installing pagelines 2.0 on Wordpress

Best Answer Rob , 05 May 2013 - 07:31 PM

@harenama

Sometimes if an installation is performed by an automated installer, it can fail.

The solution is to FTP into your site and navigate to wp-content/themes/.  Find the pagelines folder and delete that one folder completely.

Go to www.pagelines.com/launchpad and login.  Download PageLines from Launchpad.  Unzip the file to your desktop, where you'll find a new folder also named pagelines.

Upload that new folder on your desktop to wp-content/themes

Next, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and activate PageLines Framework.

Once you're in, you'll see on the left, top column "PageLines" and under it, Dashboard, where you can set up Your Account (saving your login credentials).

Now you're ready to go to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Website Setup and start organizing your site.

Hi guys,

I followed the instructional video on pagelines to install the latest version pagelines 2 on wordpress and I got this message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/21/11034521/html/wp-content/themes/pagelines/

Theme install failed.

I have the Ultimate host plan with Godaddy and the latest version of wordpress.

Thanks
