Question

Hi there,

I'm just after some custom code to make some text in the MoreFoot left, middle and bottom smaller than the default text.

Could anyone help?

Many thanks

Josie

Hi Josie,

I recommend using Firebug or your browsers built-in web dev tools and inspect the Morefooor area's text/links to find the correct code.

For assistance visit our custom CSS documentation - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/custom-css/

I've looked at the CSS doc you sent the link for but I'm not that clever I'm affraid!

Is shrinking the font in the more footers something realy simple?

Hi Josie

Shrinking any of the fonts on the site can only be done using some custom css. It will work in the format of

#selector {font-size:12px;}

To find the selector for the item you want to edit, in your case the title or text within the morefoot area, you'll need to use firebug or chrome developer tools to find the correct name of the item you want to edit (the selector). There are options for making style changes to the various fonts inside the typography panel inside Pagelines>site options>typography but they won't effect the size of the font unfortunately, so css is the best option.

Thank you James,

I've managed to find the selector using firebug and changed the size of the font.
