Promo Slider Promo Slider Color

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi everyone,

Just installed Promo Slider but I'd like to change the color of the tab.

Using FireBug I found the code, copied it to my CSS and changed the color but it still shows as the default....?

.QuickContentSlider-button-right {
    background-color: #00a8e2;
    color: white;
    float: left;
    font-weight: bold;
    padding: 12px;
    position: absolute;
    text-align: center;
    top: -45px;
    transform: rotate(270deg);
    transform-origin: 100% 100% 0;
    visibility: hidden;
}

Any ideas why #00a8e2 color is not showing?

Thanks!

Sorry John!  I thought I had deployed the update properly but wasn't seeing the update. I just re-deployed the update.  Please look for the update shortly.

Thanks Simon that has worked!

Last question - is it possible to 'deactivate' it from showing on mobile devices as it just doesn't sit right....

I've added the browser specific plugin and added the following code but no joy.

.iphone #QuickContentSlider-button-right {
  display:none;
    }

Sorry I'm not very good with CSS.

You should try the selector #QuickContentSlider-right instead of #QuickContentSlider-button-right.

Hi guys, just submitted an update. This update should help with the CSS issues so you can overwrite the styles without !important

I've had to disable the plugin as it is still showing on mobile devices!

Any ideas why the above code isn't working?

I can re-enable if someone can take a look....

davemoppert -- I am having similar issues off and on.  I was able to shut off on mobile - but it seems to keep coming back unexpectedly.

Any other users able to disable or resize on mobile?    The current issue is that div slides out too far for the mobile screen ... and also the div is too large and blocks content on mobile.
