Box settings per page...

Question

Posted · Report post

I want to adjust box spacing per page with different box sets... I see the setting is .pp4, .pp5, pp3 etc. But I'm currently adjusting all settings and not per page. Is that a function, div, change or css? Or something scarier? Ha!

Thanks...

Hi,

When a static page is created, WordPress assigns it a unique ID number.  You can find this when you look at the Edit screen for the page as Admin. It will be somewhere in the URL in the address bar of your browser.

So, let's assume we're dealing with page 77.   In front of your CSS, you can attach a unique identifier for that page.  It's written thus:

.page-id-77

Now, if you want to change something on that particular page, like boxes -- for example, a background color, you'd write:

.page-id-77 #boxes {background-color: #C00000;}

This would make all the boxes on that page have a dark-red background color.

Use the unique page ID to achieve your goal, and I'm sure you'll be most pleased.

Sweet! I wanted to assign specific spacing for some box sets but keep others tight... That should do it. Thanks!
