Crackbar Images in Big Crack Dropdown

Question

Posted · Report post

How do I insert an image in a Big Crack Dropdown. I found the shortcode you mentioned for links. It seems to work fine for me. Is there a shortcode for an image? Can I make an image clickable within the [ba-link] shortcode?

The demo page has the same version of Crackbar as you are using. It's using normal shortcodes found within PageLines. http://demo.pagelines.me/tools

Maps

[googlemap width="100%" height="300" address="San Francisco,CA"]

Not quote sure how you would put an image in. May need to build a shortcode for it.

I tried your suggestion, just <img src=http://jfspencer.staging.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Tri-State-Map-for-CrackBar-200-by-200.jpg> to no avail. Where will I find the short codes you built into the section? I tried embedding a Google Maps' iframe, taking a cue from your Crackbar Demo, based on Firebug, but couldn't make it work either. I am new to all of this, so is Firebug an appropriate way to look at your Demo? Or is it the case that the demo page is built with html and css and doesn't represent the actual Crackbar section in practice?

Thank you very much for the link to the tools page. I apologize that I hadn't seen that earlier. Didn't exhaustively search the general Pagelines info like I should have. The shortcode you showed me worked great, although I want to be able to show a map that is regional so people can see where our town is comparatively. That is why the image would have helped. I appreciate that you are contemplating an image shortcode. I have purchased many of your sections/plugins and like the functionality they provide.

Sorry for the delay in my response.  I dont think I built-in an image shortcode. Try using <img src=""> etc, but use it WITHOUT the quotes around the source. Shortcodes seem to choke on text that has quotes as it thinks it's an attribute and get's confused.
