On Climbur.com the menu bar sticks out to the right slightly past the rest of the content. On the homepage this is evident right above the featured picture.

Additionally, the text on the menu is not fully vertically centered... it seems to sit slightly lower in the bar than center.

How can I fix both of these issues?

Also, is there a tutorial on styling the navigation?

Thanks!

Hi there,

To make these type of amendments you'll need to use some custom css to edit the padding of the navigation menu's container, so you can move it up, down, left, right slighty.

There's a guide to how to use css within the framework here that will help you -

you'll need to use a web developer tool like firebug or chrome developer tools to be able to inspect the navigation container and make the required changes.

If you've not used css before, this site will be able to help you as a reference to the css commands -
